Cape Cod Canal, August 2008I took this during the Pan Mass Challenge, a bikeathon that raises money for the Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (pmc.org). It's a two-day event, and day two begins with a ride over the Bourne Bridge and then along the Canal Bike Path, before going down the length of the Cape to Provincetown. It was an amazing event, and this was the most beautiful moment, gliding down the mist-shrouded canal just at sunrise. I had to pull off the path to take a few photos.
